On Monday, we kicked off the week with headlines about the FTC’s CARS Rule battle, robotaxi riders loving their rides, and a recall roundup from BMW, Honda, and Chrysler. We also checked out Q3 EV sales, and highlighted the importance of those hefty EV incentives. Oh, and if you hadn’t heard, SpaceX is catching rockets with chopsticks—yes, really! 🚀
Then on Tuesday, we covered Tesla’s robo-taxi setback, Stellantis’s new COO tackling inventory issues, and Nissan’s smart ChargeScape initiative. Plus, we highlighted West Herr’s community impact and celebrated Scott Bieler’s recognition as Buffalo Niagara’s Industry Leader of the Year. Oh, and if you’re into stargazing, keep an eye out for some comets this month! 🔭
Wednesday we highlighted the global surge in EV sales, BMW’s warning about Europe’s EV ban, and BYD’s push to flood Europe with affordable electric cars. Then, we applauded Florida dealers stepping up to support employees after Hurricane Milton. Plus, Carter Myers Automotive marked their 100th year in business and we made our way to Charlottesville to celebrate with the CMA crew. 🎉
On Thursday we covered new-vehicle affordability hitting a roadblock, GM's fight to hold its SUV crown, and Nissan’s big EV charging push. Plus, we gave Jeff Wyler a shout-out for their FastLane Supercar Parade, where kids facing life-changing illnesses got a VIP ride of a lifetime. 🏎️
Finally, on Friday we wrapped up the week with automakers slashing EV prices, Stellantis pausing Panda production, and Volkswagen facing plant closures. We also explored how consumers are still spending despite inflation and spotlighted some the incredible work from our friends at Vehicles for Change. 🧰

Mercedes-Benz Releases Bobby-AMG GT Children's Car
Mercedes-Benz has introduced the seventh generation of its popular children's car—the Bobby-AMG GT—offering a playful nod to its real-life counterpart.
Available in Hyper Blue and Sun Yellow, the miniaturized sports car mimics the design of the Mercedes-AMG GT, complete with a radiator grille, rear diffuser, and stylish headlamps. The Hyper Blue model even comes with working front and rear lights, adding an extra touch of realism.
Designed for children 18 months and older, this set of wheels improves on comfort with a redesigned, more ergonomic seating position. Michelin-designed tires, paired with black AMG-style rims, ensure a smooth and stylish ride for the youngest drivers.
