MORE THAN CARS MOMENTS

🦃 West Herr’s $100K Thanksgiving Gift

In a true love people more than you love cars moment, West Herr Automotive Group stepped up big for Western New York families this Thanksgiving. President Scott Bieler teamed up with Congressman Tim Kennedy to deliver hundreds of turkeys and Thanksgiving staples at Buffalo’s Response to Love Center. But that was just a slice of the generosity pie.

With $100,000 in frozen turkeys and 5,000 bags of food distributed to 45 community organizations, this year marked West Herr’s largest Thanksgiving drive yet. Customers and employees pitched in, proving that the giving spirit isn’t just seasonal—it's woven into the fabric of this dealership group.

Sister Mary Johnice of the Response to Love Center summed it up best: “It’s a day of rejoicing… thanks to God and West Herr.” Thousands of families will enjoy a true Thanksgiving feast, reminding us all what the season (and community) is really about.

Tenor

Thanksgiving travel is hitting new highs this year, with nearly 80M Americans projected to travel 50 miles or more this holiday season—a record that surpasses pre-pandemic numbers by 2M.

AAA

For those opting to drive over the holiday weekend, timing is going to be everything.

A new report shows that today is typically the best day to hit the road for minimal stress. For your return trip, Sunday morning offers the best chance of avoiding delays, while Monday could see heavy congestion as holiday travelers and commuters share the streets.

For drivers navigating cities like Boston, LA, or DC, expect congestion to double over the weekend. Translation? Bring snacks, queue up some podcasts, and practice your deep-breathing exercises.
