For the 47th year in a row, the Ford F-150 claimed the title of America’s best-selling vehicle, with 20% of buyers opting for the hybrid version.
This year also marked a high point for hybrids overall, bridging the gap between traditional gas-powered cars and EVs.
Ford F-150 – The perennial champ, lauded for its balance of capability and efficiency.
Toyota RAV4 – A consistent favorite, with hybrids accounting for half of its 430K units sold.
Honda CR-V – Climbed to third place, with hybrids making up half of sales.
Chevy Silverado 1500 – A staple of American driveways, holding 2.5% of the market even without a hybrid option.
Tesla Model Y – The only fully electric to make the list, with 336K units sold.
Toyota Corolla – A steady hybrid favorite.
Toyota Camry – Newly transitioned to an all-hybrid lineup for 2025.
Nissan Rogue – A rare non-hybrid SUV on the list, maintaining solid sales.
Honda Civic – Budget-friendly and on the rise.
Chevy Equinox – Captured 1.4% of the market, maintaining its position as a popular crossover.
