🎁 Transforming Cancer Care With a Major Gift

Herb Chambers just raised the bar.
Renowned Boston-area car dealer, philanthropist, and Dorchester native, Herb has made a transformational $100M donation to Massachusetts General Hospital to fund a state-of-the-art cancer care facility.
The Herb Chambers Tower, part of the new Phillip and Susan Ragon Building, will be a 1-million-square-foot hub of innovative cancer treatment.
“This gift, for me, is intensely personal,” Chambers shared. “Mass General has provided incredible care to my family, friends, and me over the years. My heart fills with gratitude when I reflect on the dedicated and compassionate professionals who have treated us.”
The Herb Chambers Tower will include 228 acute care inpatient beds, 32 intensive care beds, a Center for Urgent Cancer Care, and a rooftop garden. It is slated to open in 2027.
Through this remarkable act of generosity, Herb Chambers is not only funding a facility but also delivering hope and comfort to countless families facing cancer. Bravo!
