Tesla, March, and EU Pricing Floors
ā” Tesla: One Win, One Wall
Tesla halted Model S/X orders in China as a 125% tariffs heat up, tightening its position in a market that once drove growth.
Meanwhile, the new $69,990 Cybertruck quietly dropped with longer range, cheaper specs, and fewer frills. Itās an unflashy play, but might be what Tesla needs to move trucks.
Whether itās global drama or a driveway debut, Tesla is still pulling headlinesāand your customers are still watching.

š Used Sales Surge in March
Retail used-vehicle sales hit 1.66 million units in March: up 9.4% MoM and 12.2% YoY, the highest monthly total since 2021, per Cox Automotive.
CPO sales also jumped 21.2%, as buyers lean into used inventory driven by tax refunds, tariffs, and affordability.
Forecasts for 2025 remain stable, but CPO expectations are slightly trimmed. Itās not a full recovery, but itās movement. And movement in the used lot is good news for retail dealers.
--
š Global Tariffs, Local Impact
The EU and China are negotiating to replace BEV tariffs with minimum pricing, responding to pressure from U.S. trade policy. If a deal is reached, Europe could scrap its 45% tariffs on Chinese EVs.
Why it matters? Because pricing floors and global inventory moves over there could trickle into pricing, supply, and even sales strategy over here. As global trade lines shift, your lot may feel the ripple sooner than expected.

How Dealers Actually Sell Cars
Letās be honestā¦
Dealers donāt need another tool.
They need a better way actually to sell cars. Enter Space Auto: the unified platform that wraps your website, digital retail, and CRM into one sleek, lightning-fast package. Fewer plugins, more deals, happier customers. Itās giving ease, speed, and control, and itās giving dealers their time back (like, 2.3 hours per day).
Weāre hyped to have Nick Askew joining the āSEO to GEOā panel at ASOTU CON 2025 to break down what really drives traffic and conversions.
This aināt theory. Itās whatās next.
MORE THAN CARS MOMENTS
Asburyās Gold Medal Effort
Giving money is good.
Giving time? Thatās next-level.
Our friends at Asbury Automotive Group didnāt just write a check, they showed up.
As part of National Volunteer Month, team members in Greenville, SC, spent the day volunteering at the Special Olympics South Carolina, from keeping time and score to placing medals around athletesā necks. They werenāt just spectators. They were participants in something bigger than all of us.
This wasnāt about car deals or service bays.
It was about dignity, joy, and community.
The Special Olympics isnāt just an event; itās a powerful invitation to shift how we see and celebrate people with intellectual disabilities. Asburyās crew answered that call with open hearts and helping hands.
Itās what More Than Cars really means.
