Recapping the Week, Podcast Highlights, and Rambo Robots

Recharge by ASOTU Logo

This week was an absolute swarm of energy. It’s really the only way we can describe it. The industry, our partners, our team — everyone’s practically buzzing with excitement about what the rest of this year has to bring.

We know a good bit of that enthusiasm is because NADA is right around the corner. So, if you’re going, come hang out with us and join in the buzz!

We really, really, really mean it. We want to see you, meet you, shake your hand, talk with you, connect, commiserate, start an inside joke. And, maybe even give you a hug (ya know, if you’re okay with that sort of thing).

Keep Buzzing Along

SOMETHING FUN

Tesla Bot Goes Full Rambo on a Cybertruck

Podcaster Alex Lorusso recently dropped a viral video that’s got the whole internet doing a double-take. 👀 👀

The 33-second video shows Tesla robots packing some serious heat and taking shots at a Cybertruck.

The scene is as wild as it sounds. One robot hands another robot donning a cowboy hat a Tommy Gun, who then proceeds to unload a hailstorm of bullets into the driver-side of the heavy-duty electric truck.

The video culminates in a moment of tongue-in-cheek humor as the robot driver of the Cybertruck emerges from the vehicle unscathed, proclaiming “I’m alive!”

For now, this scene was completely created in a digital space using CGI, but it’s probably only a matter of time.

Though his enthusiasm was underwhelming, the realistic video even drew the attention of Elon Musk who did leave a complimentary comment on the video with one succinct word: “Nice.”
