🫡 Honoring Hometown Heroes
Hunter Automotive Group
The 9th Annual "Hometown Heroes" Ceremony hosted by Hunter Automotive Group this past Friday was a celebration worth waiting for.
Originally delayed by Hurricane Helene, the event brought Western North Carolina’s first responders together for a much-needed moment of gratitude and recognition after a challenging season.
The ceremony, part of the North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association’s Hometown Heroes Program, started as a tribute on the anniversary of 9/11. Its mission is simple: honor the everyday heroes who protect and serve their communities.
This year, those heroes included Detective Heather Welch of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office. Reflecting on her work, she shared, “Our community has experienced so much loss and devastation. It’s been an honor to serve, and I hope to continue in the best way.”
Cheers all the Hometown Heroes out there: thank you for all that you do!
