Our friends over at West Herr are some of the best around, and it’s in no small part because they have such a strong leader in Scott Bieler. Recently named the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s 2024 Industry Leader of the Year, Scott isn’t your typical CEO sitting comfortably behind a desk. At 70 years young, he’s still out there visiting West Herr's 40 locations, introducing himself to customers, and personally thanking them for their loyalty.

It’s easy to see why the award found its way into Scott’s hands. Under his guidance, West Herr has blossomed into one of the nation's largest dealer groups. And it’s not just about selling cars; it’s about giving back to the community that made West Herr what it is today. Scott’s philosophy is simple: "If West Herr is here, something should be happening every year to make Western New York a better place."

And make it better, they do. From a $750K donation to Oishei Children’s Hospital to purchase a microscope used in life-saving surgeries, to ongoing support for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Mercy Hospital, and BestSelf Behavioral Health, Scott and the Scott Bieler Family Foundation have made philanthropy a company staple.

So, here’s to Scott Bieler—an industry leader, a community pillar, and a true champion for Western New York. His leadership isn’t just steering West Herr toward continued success, it’s driving real change with the people that matter most. 👏
