Stellantis has filed eight additional lawsuits against the United Auto Workers (UAW) and 23 local unions, accusing the union of threatening an unlawful strike over delayed investments.

The automaker claims these delays are due to market conditions, particularly slowing EV demand. Meanwhile, the UAW argues that Stellantis is failing to honor its $1.5B investment commitment to its Belvidere, Illinois plant. The dispute also involves the UAW’s proposal to reinstate the Jobs Bank, which Stellantis swiftly rejected.
