Market Stabilization, Rivian's New Trucks, and Major Battery Investments

The new-vehicle market is stabilizing with 2.84M units available, following a disruption from a cyber breach. Dealers can take advantage of increased sales incentives, which now average 7.2% off the average transaction price of $47,870.

Rivian has launched its Gen 2 R1T and R1S electric trucks, featuring a tri-motor setup and a competitive starting price of $99,900. This move enhances the EV segment, which continues to grow, albeit slowly.

Additionally, the U.S. Energy Department is investing $3B in twenty-five battery manufacturing projects, aimed at reducing reliance on foreign production and creating about 12,000 jobs. This initiative is vital for dealers looking to stay competitive as the shift toward electric and sustainable vehicles accelerates.

In the heart of Normal, IL, O'Brien Mitsubishi, led by Dealer Principal Ryan Gremore, embodies the spirit of "loving people more than you love cars." Since 1987, this dealership has not only introduced Mitsubishi vehicles to the community but has also become a vital source of support and compassion.

Gremore takes pride in O'Brien's philanthropic efforts, especially their partnership with the local Red Cross. This collaboration has empowered over half the staff to become CPR and First Aid trained, leading to life-saving moments right in the dealership.

But the impact doesn’t stop there. Gremore's daughter found her passion for helping children through Lifelong Access, a testament to how community service can transform lives. With a dedication to exceptional customer experiences and a genuine connection to local initiatives, O'Brien Mitsubishi continues to make a meaningful difference in Bloomington and Normal, proving that they truly are more than just a car dealership.
