How One Dealer Achieved More Than Double the National Average on Lead-to-Sale

Colonial Subaru/Volkswagen connected their online and in-store digital experience with Upstart, improving customer satisfaction and speeding up deal cycles. But best of all, their lead-to-sale is more than double the national average for Subaru dealers, at 50% vs. the 23% national average.   

“Traditions are not today's best practices. Change in this industry happens so quickly, and we want to embrace the change and new technology,” said Karen Byrd, General Manager.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t also take a moment to put some respect on the folks who didn’t do a lot of speaking on camera but said plenty with their expertise and presence. If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes big SUV full of production nuts to capture an NADA Show.

Like cars in a dealership, cameras at NADA only tell about half the story. To get the rest, you’ve gotta spend a little time with humans. Because, in truth, there is just as much going on behind the lens as in front, and we’re excited to show you more from both sides in the coming days and weeks.
