Food Beast

The Columbia Inn in Montville, NJ, has come up with a clever way of leveraging the hype and the utility of the Tesla Cybertruck in order to boost their brand visibility and pizza sales.

Co-owner Fabio Antonio Arbelaez, a long-time Tesla fan, has outfitted two of the all-electric trucks with conveyor-style ovens to whip up their signature thin-crust pies in just two minutes.

Plugged into 240-volt outlets in the truck beds, these rides can serve up 25 pizzas an hour without the need for gas or propane.

At an average $15 a pie, it’ll take them about 7,000 pizzas to pay off these beasts. But, you know what they say β€” you gotta spend dough to make dough.

…we’ll see ourselves out.
