Bozard’s 7th Triple Crown

Our friends at Bozard Ford Lincoln have earned their 7th Triple Crown award. When most people hear "Triple Crown," they think of horse races, so we asked Ed Roberts for the real story.

👑 👑 👑 Ed clarified what the Triple Crown entails: "We have to win all three of Ford's highest awards: the President's Award for customer satisfaction, be a Top 100 dealer based on volume, and achieve the Partners in Quality honor."

Out of the nearly 3,200 Ford dealers, only about 30 secure this award, underscoring Bozard Ford Lincoln's significant accomplishment. Mr. Roberts emphasized the importance of such recognition saying, "We love third-party recognition. It's easy for us to tell our customers we're different, but having awards validates the claims." 🏆

With their 7th Triple Crown win, Bozard Ford Lincoln has tangible proof that they run where others struggle to walk their talk, even if they don't win the Kentucky Derby anytime soon. 🐴

• GPT stands for "Generative Pre-training Transformer” meaning that it can create new content from a vast set of data (like the internet).
   

👷 Prompt Engineering: Crafting effective prompts is the key to unlocking ChatGPT's full potential. To get the most out of the brilliant bot, it’s important to be specific, provide context, and use natural language.

🔑 Include helpful prompt terms like:

—Tone (formal, casual, fire-breathing angry)

—Format (essay, bullet points, written backward)

—Objective (inform, engage, sell more cars)

• Emotional nuance is unsurprisingly a challenge for ChatGPT (though, to be fair, humans struggle with it too).

• The best practice is to always review its work and apply a personal touch to its output.

News: Nissan, Chevy, Stellantis, and Tesla

After months of negotiation, Nissan is investing up to $663 million in Renault's new electric vehicle unit, Ampere. This restructured deal will level their partnership, allowing both to navigate a shifting industry. Other partners, including Qualcomm and Mitsubishi Motors, are considering investing in Ampere.

Nissan is also celebrating 1 million global EV sales, 12 years after the LEAF's launch. With 19 more EV models planned by 2030 and solid-state batteries inching closer each day, the company also has big electric plans apart from Ampere.

GM is developing a next-gen Chevy Bolt using their Ultium battery tech. While the new "affordable and extended range" Bolt will launch on an "accelerated timeline," production issues may delay the Ultium batteries. Despite the setbacks, GM aims to produce 100,000 EVs in the latter half of 2023, on its path to building 1 million EVs by 2025.

Stellantis saw a 12% YoY rise in net revenues and a 37% surge in net profit for the first half of 2023. The firm, which raised its European and Middle East & Africa growth outlook, recorded a 24% and 28% YoY rise in battery EV and light EV sales, respectively.

Tesla has usurped Toyota as the top-selling brand in California, with the Model 3 and Model Y becoming the two best-selling vehicles in Q2 2023. The electric automaker's record performance has pushed BEV market share to a record 21%. The shift indicates a growing consumer preference for EVs in the region.
